Girls Act & Young People Programs

These are primary prevention programs intended to create awareness about health issues related to HIV & STI prevention, SRH & Rights, Menstrual health, and Mental health, and empower adolescent girls and young women. This is by supporting education, leadership training, and skilling.

The programs are in a total of 8 facilities. Girls Act (GA) is in Dr. CFMC, St. Balikudembe, Naguru Hospital, Soroti HCC & Lukaya HCC.

While the Young People Programs (YPP) program is in facilities of Kapelebyong, Masaka HCC & Gulu RRH

YPP Themes
Themes under YPP have been crafted in line with the combination prevention approach. Each country team is therefore expected to ensure a combination approach is implemented.
